I found a video on youtube that is about the Catholic Church and the many truths that she has. A Person by the name of C2D has had a field day of bashing my faith and the true faith ordained by God.. that is the Catholic one. Catholic was derived from the Latin word Kathlicos which meant universal. The Universal church aka Catholic has been mentioned as early as 67AD by one of the apostles and from then on it was officially in the writings of the Church Fathers.
C2D claims that the Catholic Church is the anti-Christ and so on and so forth. Making such claims that he cannot prove is frivolous and won't really be going anywhere. I would like to discuss why the Catholic Church is the one and ONLY church ordained my Christ and why it should remain the ONLY church that can claim that it goes back to Christ. The Holy Spirit said that Hell would not prevail against his church untill the end of time.. he didn't say multiple churches... he meant his one and Only Kathlicos church.
The Protestant reformation is a Heresy, one of the longest living heresies in the history of Christianity. I believe the only other heresy that lasted close to this was back in the 200-500. Still further is new (faith) continues splitting up. Christ only meant to have one fold.. he didn't want to have 48K different non Catholic churches all proclaiming to be with his flock.. no Christ started one church, intended one to stay until the end of time.
What are your thoughts on this.. and if your non-catholic can you prove to me that the church that you attend can be traced back to christ through a hierarchy of leaders here on earth and that Christ if he were to come today would approve of your new religion against the old one that he started?

Good to see you here! I did a bit a snooping and I think C2d is that old. He's been around for a bit and we sparred back and forth. That is until recently when he kept spouting the same diatribe. I then discovered he's been 'consorting' with people who support Westboro, Jack Chick, and this rather plump teleevangelist called Hagee. He hasn't refuted my assertions and keeps shouting "harlot...seven hills...anti christ....". He's become boring. Interestingly he keeps coming back. I think, he is in fact questioning his faith. Maybe I'm living in hope...

Hello Marzio,
Thank you for your post! I blog alot on here with different faiths and I continue hearing the same things you mentioned.. 7 hills, harlot, anti-Christ... their favorite is the Chair of St. Peter with the upside down cross... (b/c saint peter was crucified upside down). Their arguments usually stay the same within the mainline protestant churches. Usually thankfully I run into good Protestants, that meaning that they have good intentions and truely love Christ. It is a rare occurence that I run into one such as C2D that runs around like a chicken with his head cut off spouting off rude and misinterpreted things. You might be right, you never know when someone might be changed, or experience that change in their faith when they realize that everything they were taught didn't come from the bible, or is a blatant and out right lie fashioned from the fear of the unknown. I here occasionally about hardline protestants that are converting to Catholicism after reading the writings of the Early Church Fathers and realizing that they were Catholic and not seperate church leaders as reformation historians assert. I usually hear the line about St. Paul and how he started many different churches, I find that amusing b/c he did start many churches, but they were all under the banner of the Catholic Church!

If you have a chance you might want to check out You are My God on Steve's site re: C2d. I left him words by John Paul II. I'm sure he'll debase and slander him.
Question for you Michael,
How do you talk with the “Good Protestants” who have been told all their life how terrible the Catholic Church is? I find it much easier to defend the faith to people like C2D then I do when talking with say Protestant Family members, or “Good Protestants.” How much to you emphasis that the Catholic Church is the one true Church when talking with them?
